Gary Moe Memorial Scholarship Fund
Gary Moe called Mt. Pleasant home for fifty years. He graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School, received his bachelor's degree from Central Michigan University, and obtained a Master's degree in Social Work from Michigan State University.
Gary dedicated his life's work to better the lives of the clients at the Mt. Pleasant Regional Center. His favorite work assignment was as Director of Training. He thrived on the knowledge that learning opportunities enhanced employee skills and improved their ability to meet the needs of their clients.
In honor of the opportunities Gary had throughout his life, his family wants to continue to honor his strong belief in educational opportunities. The Gary Moe Memorial Scholarship Fund awards scholarships to non-traditional students from Isabella County who plan to attend an accredited post-secondary college, university, or vocational school.
